🔐 Introduction to Trezor.io/start


Trezor.io/start is the official launchpad for activating your Trezor hardware wallet (Model One or Model T). It’s the only trusted portal maintained by SatoshiLabs for secure onboarding and software downloads. 


What You’ll Do There


  • Choose your device model for tailored instructions.

  • Download the official Trezor Suite (desktop or browser version), avoiding phishing copies.

  • Install firmware securely and confirm it on-device.

  • Create or restore your wallet using the 12‑ or 24‑word recovery phrase. 


✅ Logging In


  1. Visit https://trezor.io/start manually (never via an email link).

  2. Connect your Trezor device via USB.

  3. Launch Trezor Suite, and enter your PIN on the physical device. Optionally enter your passphrase if enabled.

  4. Once unlocked, you’re “logged in” and can send, receive, view balances, and use features like swaps or privacy tools.


🔒 Logging Out


  • Simply close the Trezor Suite app or web tab.

  • Your device remains locked until you physically reconnect and re-enter your PIN.

  • No remote logout needed—your private keys never leave your device.
